our client, a small family orientated winery situated in franschhoek is looking to appoint a manager to take full responsibility for all their direct communications with the customer.
the goal of this position is to strengthen the direct contact with the consumer. you will coach and lead a tasting room team that shares our high-end wine through intimate experiences with each of our guests. you effectively lead and manage our tasting experiences across the estate. most importantly, you are responsible for ensuring that your team provides every guest with a memorable, world class experience, by leading, training, and developing the team and effectively sharing our brand’s winemaking and growing philosophy. you will use all the available avenues to create relationships, nurture them and expose high end luxury wines to the client base. avenues will include the tasting room, personalized events/interactions & the wine club.

you will be wine passionate, people orientated and entrepreneurial. you will be able to use your interactions to convey knowledge, embed relations and create direct sales. staff training, reporting & the management of the consumer experience is essential.

wine industry experience essential, proven track record of direct sales/wine club management, well presented, fully bilingual & own transport required. wine related qualifications & command of a 3rd language will be advantageous.
