our client, a world class wine estate based in the helderberg, is looking to appoint a human resource manager, who recognizes the importance of teamwork but is even more in tune with recognizing the value of every individual within the team.

responsibilities will include:
• develop and implement hr strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
• ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
• manage employee relations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• design and administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
• foster a positive work environment and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.

this position will require a degree in human resource management with proven experience in senior hr management. experience, and/or exposure to hospitality and agriculture will be advantageous. strong knowledge of employment laws & regulations (including esta) is imperative.

apart from the abovementioned you will have highly developed communication skills coupled with a problem solving attitude. you will have an emphatic approach yet lead by providing clear structure and treat every interaction with discrete and decisive action.
