we have learnt that it is not possible to get this fit right if we don’t get to know the candidates and the clients. therefore our method of doing is different to most in that we create (and nurture) a database of candidates looking to find that “perfect fit”.
this means that many of our candidates are not actively looking but they will make themselves available should that “perfect” opportunity present itself. on the other side we try to understand the culture & needs of our clients in order to get closer to “fit”

trudy, originally from east london, obtained her degree from maties and then moved to bloemfontein for five years to further her studies. after completing her articles with a firm dealing mainly in the agricultural environment, she was enlisted with the chartered institute of accountants as an associate general accountant in 1994. joining the wine industry in 1997, trudy spent the next ten years in accounting, management and finally recruiting for an industry she quickly grew to love. trudy has a keen interest in the concept of brand and fully believes that every single wine estate could, and should, have some form of specific identity which makes them unique. since the inception of the business, her value has extended from recruiting to offering consulting services relating to structure, strategy & ultimate focus of the wine business as a whole.

immediately on qualifying from cape technikon hotel school in 1992, namibian-born erica enjoyed a short working holiday in holland. the travel bug had bitten and after working as a waitress at the victoria and alfred waterfront during 1994 she moved to london . after six years of fun, and an exciting stint in recruitment with reed uk, erica returned to join a prestigious wine estate in 2001. after six years of reception, tasting room experience, wholesale sales, special projects and completing the full circle to marketing, erica brings her amazing feel for people, a love for fun and a serious business attitude to the solved partnership. her passion for people coupled with her international experience adds another dimension to the business. and then she also keeps trudy from talking to much in interviews...well, at least she tries.
