our client, situated at the foothills of the helderberg mountains in stellenbosch is looking for a passionate, sales driven wine sales representative to grow and manage their presence across both the on-consumption and off-consumption markets in the western cape.
this is a hands-on role for someone who understands the industry, enjoys building long term relationships and thrives in a target driven sales environment.
you will be responsible for driving sales growth, representing and promoting the wine portfolio, and maintaining accurate client records, sales activity and reporting to support effective account management and business performance.
requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience in wine sales, preferably in the trade
• strong knowledge of wine and the industry
• excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• valid south african driver’s licence with own vehicle
• wset or equivalent education would be advantageous
